WSP POSITION DESCRIPTION
Client Development Executive
WhiteSpace Strategy Partners Inc. (WSP) is looking for high integrity, performance oriented individuals who exude the confidence and conviction needed to validate sales opportunities and secure introductory meetings for our clients. As a Client Development Executive, you will be cold calling into prospective companies with whom our clients are looking to do business. Your objective is to identify the decision maker(s) within those companies to engage them via phone and email to secure face-to-face meetings for our clients.
Reports to: Client Partner
Qualification:
One to three years experience in selling, inside and outside, preferably in a high-tech environment.
Consistent performance in the top 25% in a related high-tech area.
Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable with selling via telephon
Outstanding oral and written skills, working closely with others in the sale and delivery of solutions
Ability to gain domain expertise in client’s area of business within days.
Be creative and persistent in finding ways to reach targets
Possess poise and confidence with the ability to think quickly
Experience in relationship building and willingness to be a team player, as well as developing team leadership skills.
Skill in addressing real customer problems in presenting WSP clients solutions.
BS/BA degree in an area that demonstrates technical and/or business aptitude.
Must have basic computer proficiency, including use of Microsoft Office, Power Point and Customer Relationship Database Software
Responsibilities:
Identify and cultivate ideal prospective clients
Exhibit leadership and technology knowledge. Keep professionally current and well informed with respect to trends, changes, issues, and events in the market and within your assigned client’s industry.
Make outbound sales calls and thoroughly exploit all sales opportunities including cold calling activity and follow-up on leads to identify and validate opportunities, with the objective to develop meetings with prospective buyers
Identify and resolve issues impacting successful delivery of projects.for the client to engage in sales and generate revenue.
Identify and implement best practices for successful sales, including identification of the target buyer, product positioning, and major benefits and features.
Make regular executive-level calls, close business and build relationships to ensure a continuing revenue stream from clients. Represent WSP in professional manner with the best interest of the client and WSP as equal partners.
